Located in the green hills above Ferndale, the Bonanza and Seattle ranches provide outstanding vistas of the Bear River Valley, and the Pacific Ocean. In springtime, when the new calves are born, the hills are dotted with wildflowers such as poppies and lupine. Winter brings a bounty of rain that makes our natural grasses grow, and an occasional dusting of snow decorates the hill tops. Hugo and Elizabeth feel lucky to be able to live and work in this paradise, and through these photos, hope to share a bit of it with you.
