Best of the West Dinner Nachos (6 Servings)

In a medium skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and chopped onion until beef is browned and onion is tender. Drain off excess fat. In a slow cooker combine the beef mixture, taco seasoning, tomato sauce, corn and kidney beans. Replace the lid and cook on low for one hour. You can also put into covered baking dish and cook in oven for 45 minutes at 350 degrees. For each serving, spread one cup of tortilla chips in a bowl, pour some taco mixture over the chips, sprinkle with Cheddar cheese and chopped green onions.
